Preparing for a wedding can be one of the most exciting and stressful times for a couple. Making sure the flowers, the location, the dress, the guest list, and a host of other details are in order require a lot of time and attention. But what about after the minister, judge, or priest pronounces you “husband and wife?” How much time and attention will you spend preparing for your marriage?
Using the engagement period to invest in your relationship will pay great dividends later in life. Both Christa Wright, LMFT and Kimberly D Wood, LPC are certified in the Prepare Enrich offering premarital counseling. Even if your church has a class or required meeting with a priest or pastor, you can benefit from going deeper into your strengths and identifying growth areas and working to give your marriage a strong foundation through premarital therapy.
The practice offers a 6-session package including a full 90-minute intake assessment session, the online administration of the research supported Prepare/Enrich Assessment, a full interpretation of the test, and follow-up sessions to work on identified goals. She is a certified facilitator for the Prepare/Enrich Assessment and has expertise in working with couples in all stages of their relationships.
The cost is $550 plus the cost of the assessment (approx. $30) for one 90-minute session and five 50-minute sessions. Please contact Christa Wright or Kimberly D Wood at Catherine Hunter and Associates at 847-550-0395 for more information or to schedule and appointment.
